Indoor Sports Facility Gives Convenience to Practice Anytime

McKenzie High School Indoor Sports Facility

McKenzie, TN

TLM was employed by the McKenzie Special School District to design and draw plans for a new indoor facility adjacent to the existing high school in McKenzie.

The building is designed for year-round practice for various sports, and multiple functions as needed by the school district.

The layout includes a 40-yard, full-width football field and includes baseball and softball layouts with operable batting cages located on one end. The facility can be used for soccer and band practice. It contains a weight room, locker rooms, restrooms, and storage, including a mezzanine with fenced areas for multiple sports equipment storage.

The facility is located at the north end of the corridor leading from the high school. The existing football practice field will be relocated to accommodate the new facility, making it convenient for group use with nearby parking.
